Within the last week we have had two things happen for the first time (I will tell you the good one first), Alan and I went to Decatur for a few days and while we were there he sat up alone at LeeLee & Bigdaddy's house. I was so glad that mom got to see him do this and she felt so good while we were there and they played in the floor together and did all the things that grandmothers like to do. We still have a ways to go with this sitting up thing though and here is a picture of our lil man sitting up!!!
The other first is that Alan has experienced his first time being sick this week and we feel so blessed that he is ALREADY 7 months and is just now sick the first time, but he has an ear infection in one ear and the doctor gave him some of the good ole bubble gum medicine that has been around since I was a child so we are trying to get him well. Also just a little update when I took him to doctor yesterday he weighed close to 17 pounds.
