Halloween Part 1

We started Halloween week off with a party at Alan's school and he dressed up as a farmer. This was the the best picture I could get of a running target. That night we joined our friends for Auburn's Downtown Trick or Treat.

DHS Homecoming & Team Captain

Mom was chosen to be an honorary team captain for the homecoming game at DHS and I got to be there with her, I was so proud for her. All of the players & coaches wore pink arm bands to honor Mom & women who have fought breast cancer at this game

Power of Pink Walk

This year my mom was the honoree for the Decatur General Hospital Power of Pink Walk for Breast Cancer and I thought it was awesome!!!

The weather was beautiful, they had over 700 people register to walk and the money went to breast health services at Decatur General (where mom has had all of her treaments). I want to thank everyone who came out for this occasion. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so many people went out of their way to recognize mom and the journey that she has been going through and our family is so humbled. I also want to say that this walk was not just about mom it was about ANYONE who has been affected by this disease in any way, and our family was just glad to be a part of it and we are looking forward to next year.

DHS Pep Rally & Riding a John Deere

Alan & I were in Decatur about 10 days at the beginning of October, and while we were there we got to do many special things. One of which was go to a DHS pep rally which is where Jack & I graduated high school and also LeeLee still teaches there.

Jack's Brother & Family...

First of all I know I am WAY behind on my blogging but we have been busy and time has just gotten away from me (wow it's almost Thanksgiving).
The First weekend in October Jack's brother, his wife & their 2 children came to visit us. Mawmaw & Pawpaw also came from Decatur and we had a Great time being together. Jack's brother lives about 13 hrs. away so we usually only see them about twice a yr. so this was a nice surprise. This was the first time he had gotten to bring his children to Auburn and since he went to school here it was pretty special.

We also got to celebrate Jimmy's birthday on Friday night

More AU Block Parties

We have made it to all of the downtown block parties on Friday nights so far and Alan has had a blast. We usually meet our friend's for pizza and then listen to the band, they have the block parties on the Friday night before each home game. Our family says "Its great to be an Auburn Tiger" and we love living here and we love Auburn!!!

Auburn Block Party

We went with some of our friends to the Auburn Block Party downtown last Friday night and had a great time. Alan had fun listening to the band, playing with his friends and running (while Mommy & Daddy chased him).

Trucks

Alan is getting to the stage where he LOVES trucks and ANYTHING that even remotely looks like a ball. He is all boy for sure. So here he is with one of his favorite things, his firetruck.

Pancakes and such...

This little guy has quite the appetite now and he has definitely learned what REAL food is. He has pancakes most every morning for breakfast and he also is really starting to really like chicken nuggets and fries (i know these things are not so nutitious for him) but we sneak some veggies & fruit in every now and then.

"Mom can I have another pancake, please"

Alan's 1st Day of Preschool

This week was this lil guy's first day of preschool and he did GREAT so far!!! He has gone 2 days and has really seemed to like it. On his second day he didn't even cry when I left him (so he must be having fun) and when I pick him he is so tired he barely makes it home to take a nap.

I was also very proud of myself that I didn't cry when I dropped him off, but it helped me that he did so good.
