Halloween Part 1

We started Halloween week off with a party at Alan's school and he dressed up as a farmer. This was the the best picture I could get of a running target. That night we joined our friends for Auburn's Downtown Trick or Treat.

DHS Homecoming & Team Captain

Mom was chosen to be an honorary team captain for the homecoming game at DHS and I got to be there with her, I was so proud for her. All of the players & coaches wore pink arm bands to honor Mom & women who have fought breast cancer at this game

Power of Pink Walk

This year my mom was the honoree for the Decatur General Hospital Power of Pink Walk for Breast Cancer and I thought it was awesome!!!

The weather was beautiful, they had over 700 people register to walk and the money went to breast health services at Decatur General (where mom has had all of her treaments). I want to thank everyone who came out for this occasion. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so many people went out of their way to recognize mom and the journey that she has been going through and our family is so humbled. I also want to say that this walk was not just about mom it was about ANYONE who has been affected by this disease in any way, and our family was just glad to be a part of it and we are looking forward to next year.

DHS Pep Rally & Riding a John Deere

Alan & I were in Decatur about 10 days at the beginning of October, and while we were there we got to do many special things. One of which was go to a DHS pep rally which is where Jack & I graduated high school and also LeeLee still teaches there.

Jack's Brother & Family...

First of all I know I am WAY behind on my blogging but we have been busy and time has just gotten away from me (wow it's almost Thanksgiving).
The First weekend in October Jack's brother, his wife & their 2 children came to visit us. Mawmaw & Pawpaw also came from Decatur and we had a Great time being together. Jack's brother lives about 13 hrs. away so we usually only see them about twice a yr. so this was a nice surprise. This was the first time he had gotten to bring his children to Auburn and since he went to school here it was pretty special.

We also got to celebrate Jimmy's birthday on Friday night
