Today is Jack's birthday. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and best friend. I love you!!!

Hiccups

This morning J.W. (Baby A) had the hiccups for the first time (that I could feel). It was so neat! I was still lying in the bed watching the news, about to start my morning routine, when I felt what I thought what him moving, but it continued and the movements were different, just like when we have hiccups, I could see one particular place on my tummy move. I still think this is absolutely a miracle and a such (our) little blessing.

The Great-Grandmothers

This past weekend some of my dear friend's here in Auburn gave me (and Baby A) my first baby shower and it was so nice, we got so many great things, the food was wonderful and it was a very special day for us. My mom, both of my grandmothers and Jack's mom all got to come from Decatur and that was great getting to visit with all of them.

Thanksgiving (a little late)

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my side of the family and with Jack's side of the family. We drove to Decatur on Wednesday night and celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday with my family and we celebrated Thanksgiving with Jack's family Saturday. We have so many things to be thankful for but just a few things that I would like to specifically name are our our faith, family, friends, health, and this year we are especially thankful and blessed to have a healthy baby on the way.

While we were in Decatur we got to have a short visit with Jack's brother and his family that we have not seen in a year (they live in Virginia), and we dont get to see them as often as we would like, but we were so glad to see them and their children have gotten so big!!!

On Friday, we went to the Summerford Family Reunion (which is Jack's mom's side of the family), and they have this reunion every other year. It was lots of fun to see everyone and of course the food was delicious.

Sorry, I forgot my camera at the reunion and the Anglea Thanksgiving celebration (I am getting better about taking pictures, but very slowly).

Something Special!!!

Last night something special happened at our house, Jack got to feel Baby A kick for the first time. The baby has gotten pretty active and I was so glad that Jack finally got to feel him. This is a very special time and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful man as my husband and I can't wait for us both to meet our son and I know that Jack will be a great dad.

Getting Ready for the Holliday's

Jack and I had a very restful weekend, but we also got alot done around the house. I am so excited about being at our NEW house this year during Christmas. We started decorating since we are going to be out of town for Thanksgiving. I am really getting into the holliday spirit early this year and I can't wait to see both of our families. We are both so lucky to have our families and I am so thankful that JW is going to have so many people that will love him too and it will be so much fun next year to have a little one at Christmas!!!

Our Weekend

This weekend for the Auburn vs. Georgia game. my grandmother, and great aunt & uncle (which he is my grandmother's brother) came to visit us. We had a great time despite the Auburn game. It is always great to see family that we have not seen in a long time. War Eagle and come back and visit us anytime!!!
