It Snowed in Auburn!!!

Our Street
The woods behind our house (even the trees were covered!)

Yesterday morning when we woke up it was snowing hard and it did not stop until around noon.It was absolutely beautiful and we were so shocked, we just dont get much snow in Alabama. We made homemade soup and just stayed inside all day and relaxed, it was very nice. Jack measured it and we got about 2 1/2 inches, none of it ever stuck to the streets and it is melting this morning but we still have a lot on the yards and rooftops.

Saying Goodbye

This past Wedenesday the girls from work took me to lunch to say goodbye. It is bittersweet leaving work, I am sure that I will enjoy being a stay at home mom but I am going to miss everyone that I have worked with for the last 3 years (almost). We ate at the Mexican restaurant, Mexican Food is my favorite. Wednesday was my last day so I am resting at home now and awaiting Baby A's arrival. I did have a doctors appointment today and I have not made any progress so right now it looks like Baby A still has a few more weeks to go.

Something Special for the Great Gransdons of the family

A blanket crocheted by Aunt Tammy

My mother in law's side of the family had a very nice shower for us while we were in Decatur also. It was almost like a family reunion (it was great to see everyone that we don't get to see very often). Jack and I feel very blessed to have so many people that love us and want to do special things for us.

My sister was the photographer for the afternoon so we have lots of pictures from this shower, hope you enjoy. Baby A has so many nice things, we are just waiting for the big arrival now!!!

Baby A's Decatur Shower!!!

Our wonderful friends showered Baby A and I this past weekend and everything was so nice. Baby A got SO MANY nice things. It was great to see everyone and I really appreciate everyone thinking of Jack, Me and Baby A during this special time.
I did take my camera to the shower but I was so busy visiting with everyone that I only got one picture and it was of Jennifer's darling cupcakes that she made to coordinate with our nursery colors!!!
